From the colonial towns of Merida and Valladolid we cycle through colourful Mayan villages on quiet roads. We stop to cool off in incredible cenotes (fresh water holes) and swim from beautiful beaches. Along the way we discover fascinating Mayan archaeological sites at Chichen Itza and Coba, try pre-Colombian food, sample tequila and learn some Mayan language.
